What Causes Inability To Reach The Climax During Intercourse?

Hello, recently i had my first sexual encounter with a partner, and practiced safe sex by using a condom. Im wondering why it was that although i tried for a nearly over an hour i couldnt seem to reach stimulation or climax. I can achieve this by masturbating, but am puzzled as to why i couldnt find that same pleasure from a partner.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the performance anxiety, doing in front of somebody, awareness of surroundings etc may affect the orgasm as it needs a lot of factors to come together including physical as well as psychological etc.

During next encounters you may feel normal, or these problems may fade away but if persist it's better to get review by a sexual councillor and get a detailed session or therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
