What Causes Incoherent Speech And Weakness On Right Side Of The Body?

I have been diagnosed as a possibility with "hemi paraplegic with migraine onset". I don't always have the migraine or the weakness on the right side but sometimes all that happens is that I am not coherent-i.e. think I'm in a different place,etc. I'm 58 yrs old-is the incoherency normal for this?
