What Causes Inconsistencies In Menstruation?

I had taken ipill post which my periods got delayed for 2 weeks . I got my periods later but its continuing for the last 20days .The first week was normal or light periods but the second week there were huge clots . After that the periods became less but when it almost stopped i had sex and again periods have started . when would my periods stop ?
