What Causes Increase In HCG Level When Having Cold Sore?

My daughter is 6 weeks preg. and her hcg went from 300 to 800 the first and then thiird day. now she developed a cold sore and her numbers keep rising but not as much as they should and she was wondering if it was the cold sore that is causing it.thank you

Hcg is doubled within 48 hrs in pregnancy in your case she is 6 week pregnant and her Hcg is low for her weeks of pregnancy that means she is not sure of her date or it can be ectopic pregnancy .
