What Causes Increase In Appetite And Itching Sensation In Clitoris While On Phentermine?

I was given maxzide about 5 weeks ago for water retention. It caused side effects, mostly uncontrolable coughing. My doctor had me add an otc acid reflux med to control it and it worked. She also started me on phentermine which I take only when I feel I m having a day I can t control my eating so maybe 3 times a week. In the last week I have started having a lot of itching on the clitoris but no where else on by private area or the rest of my body. There are a few very small bumps but no discharge or puss. Can you tell me if this could be a side effect of the meds?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, different condition being described here, first if it is the diuretic you are on then it may not cause any cough symptoms, second PPI could control the cough and it need to be taken for long time, third for the clitoris lesion it could be fungal infection and it can be well treated with "Miconazole cream" over all these are not related with the side effects of drug and not even related with each other, it is nothing to be worried, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
