What Causes Increase In Prolactin Hormone Levels?

I am having the problem of Light Hiatus Harnia. My age is 26, Female. As i was detected this in Dec 2010. Since that month i am taking Rabonik Plus and Velgut madice for Acid reflux. But now my Prolactin harmone arise to 172 Level. I ahve read somewhere taht sometimes its due to these medicine also. Please advice whether these medicine are playing the part to increase the level of Prolactin or nor. MRI and all hormonal test have been done already.

Hello,
I read carefully your concern and understood your query.
The high prolactine level can be caused by the medications you mentioned.
But before saying that, other causes should be excluded. The most important one is pituitary tumor.
The MRI will help to make the diagnosis.

A high TSH level may be also a cause of high prolactine.
