What Causes Increase In The Sugar Levels?

my sugars have been up I have gone to wwatchers in sept, they were 7.2 average then, they're still up in 6 range, my doc perscribed medform last nite, my question is, i have bloodwork scheduled for mar 21st, should I wait for those results or start it now?
