What Causes Increased SGPT And SGOT Levels?

Respected DR I have hapititis c with viral load 7,24,534 and log value 5.86 in month of October.I am doing homoeopathic treatment. Now my bilirubin total became 0.5mg/DL ,bilirubin direct became 0.2 ,alkaline phosphate is 132 u/l, HB is 16.4gm%. But Sgpt. Is 217U/L and 159 U/L. Dr please tell me why this sgpt and sgot so raised ?.is any damage to my liver ?what food should I eat lower sgpt shot? should I continue homoepathic treatment ?
