What Causes Increased Cravings For Cold Drinks?

I wonder why I always crave cold drinks. I don t drink soda or alcohol. Never did. However, I was a big coffee drinker. But as I m older (65) I live on iced tea and lemonade all day long. Of course I eat well, just curious about the drinking cold drinks constantly. Thank you.

Hello,

It probably doesn't mean much. There can be water hunger if someone is dehydrated.

If someone is on diuretics or drugs that acts like diuretics or diabetes with peeing a lot and becoming dehydrated, that MIGHT be a reason.

And if the perceived fluid level were low by the brain due to heart failure that might be a reason.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
