What Causes Increased Dryness In Vagina After Using Vagifem?

I ve used Vagifem for 14 days due to dryness of a menopausal conditions. My sex got better, but after 14 days the dryness inside vagina is worst. My partner complains about sexual responses from me. He thinks I am not responding as it should. Is this drug effective?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Vagifem is a medication of female hormone 'estrogen'. It is used by women to help reduce vaginal symptoms of menopause such as vaginal dryness, burning and itching.
The usual side effects include nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhea, breast tenderness, headache or weight changes may occur.
Since you used it and got better, you should continue to use it in the following manner.
During the first 2 weeks of treatment, you’ll use 1 Vagifem 10 mcg tablet every day; then 1 tablet twice weekly thereafter. Then you can slowly taper it off.
