What Causes Increased Heart Beat With Weakness During Pregnancy?

My wife is currently preg. she is 150lbs, 5'3" age 36. this will be her 8th child. She realize on her second to last that she has had an extra beat in her heart. she has complain of weakness, tiredness, and at times sleepy. My question is this dangerous for her and the baby? will she have a difficult pregnancy? Thanks for you response. Concern Father.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion all the symptoms mostly suggest the anaemia.I suggest you to check Hemoglobin level and rule out anaemia.Take good nutritional diet and take prenatals correctly.As this is her 8 th pregnancy there is a probability for her to be anaemic.If the anaemia persists it might cause preterm labour and IUGR.But dont worry it can be corrected easily and can prevent complications.
