What Causes Increased Heartbeat?

I am 45 age lady. i cant sleep upto late night and cant take deep sleep. when i started to go in deep sleep suddenly i wake up, my breath cut off. i have bp 140/90 regular, sometimes goes up to 145-94. i have headache sometimes and feeling hearbeats fast. feeling uneasy always.

Heartbeat variations in your case are most probably linked to sleep disturbances.Sleep onset difficulty with inability to maintain sleep duration are probably linked to cardiovascular fluctuations.Drugs like benzodiazepines are very useful to to improve the sleep a pattern.Have a baseline ecg and screening 2 dimensional echo to rule out organic heart disease.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
