What Causes Increased Sex Drive?

I am a male and I have just turned 40 back in April. In the last 2-3 months my sex drive has gone absolutely haywire. I have been married 12 years and have 3 kids, but I feel more sexually active than I ever have been in my life. I have sex 1-2 times a day, and yet still feel the need to masturbate. I can have calm orgasms that do not satisfy me, and if I don t have an intense enough orgasm I get angry and irritated until I have what I call a good orgasm. I used to drink and do a lot of street drugs, but now I just drink occasionally. I thought my testosterone level was supposed to drop with age, mine seems to be increasing. I am not taking any vitamins or pills, and I am gaining muscle tone. What could be causing this increased sex drive?
