What Causes Indentation Post Drainage Of Abscess?

Hello. Two days ago I popped a small cyst (I assume it was a cyst) between I eyebrows. The contents were like yellowish and stringy. The bumb was not big but it was noticeable and now the area is a bit bruised looking. I noticed there is an extremely tiny hole there. What does this mean??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the indentation post drainage of abscess indicates healing phase of the inflammed tissue.

* However, if a photo picture of the area is available during follow up discussion, it would be of immense help to discuss further regarding the same.

* In general, you do not get final tissue healing result after 2 days, which takes around 5-7 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
