HELLP. MY MOTHER HAS BLISTERS POPPIN UP ON HER STOMACH AND UNDER HER ARMS. THEY ARE FULL OF PUS AND DO DRAIN GREEN FLUID AND BLOOD AT TIMES. THEY JUST STARTED ALL OF A SUDDEN. SOME ARE SMALL AS A DIME AND OTHERS ARE AS BIG AS A QUARTER IN SIZE. CAN YOU TELL US WHAT THIS COULD BE?

Hi,

As per your query, your mother has symptoms of infected blisters on the stomach and underarms which can occur due to many reasons like contact dermatitis, allergic reaction due to detergent, soap, an animal bite, or an insect sting and due to systemic disease.

Need not to worry. You should wear loose clothes to avoid frictional heat. Avoid touching or pricking rashes. I would suggest you consult a dermatologist for proper examination. The doctor may prescribe antihistamine along with corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline short. For now, take Benadryl and apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
