What Causes Infection And Bleeding In Nose While On Plavix And Aspirin?

I am a 72 yr old female. I had my 4th stent Oct 2014 and have been on low dose Plavix and 81 mg aspirin. Many 2-3 hr nosebleeds to follow with bad nose infection requiring levofloxin and flagyl last week. Platelet funct assay and PTT abnormal. Can I take 1/2 pill Plavix for the next 7 months and be safe?

Well come to HCM
If this is bleeding per nose and you are on blood thinning medicine so it better to stop this till it being cleared the underlying cause of bleeding per nose, and better to have a word with cardiologist, hope this information helps, if you are hypertensive then this need to be controlled well, take care.
