What Causes Inflamed And Watery Eyes While On Monodox For Severe Cold?
I was given Monodox for a severe cold. I was told to take it 2x daily. I started with one dose in the evening and then 2 doses the next day. When I awoke my eyes became inflamed and watery. I immediately stopped the medication as it was the only thing I had added to my diet. As of today, two days later, I am still in pain, with swollen and wtery eyes. My question is, what can I do to relieve the symptoms?
Hello, As you have mentioned about swollen and watery eyes, the one reason behind this might be that you got allergic reaction with the medicine. The other possibility might be that sometimes in severe cold the eyes might get swelled with irritation and water in them. * Anti histaminic or commonly called as anti allergic medicines might help in both conditions. But I advice you to visit a physician first as eyes are very precious and there might be some other reason too which can only be ruled out with the help of clinical examination. So consult a nearby physician for clinical examination. * I hope you are satisfied with my answer. Thank you.
