What Causes Inflamed Gums, Nausea And Scratchy Throat?

Hello! I am slightly sick. My gums are imflamed right where my two upper front teeth are. Is this due to being sick? I ve been nauseous and my throat is has been slightly scratchy. Though, it comes in waves! My husband is sick too...so I don t think the nauseous is pregnancy. ;)
