What Causes Inflammation And Swelling On Face?

Sir, I m just a teenager who is really concern on my mother s face inflammation. Shes been suffering from a minimal ache from the start and the swell or inflammation is not really visible on that moment. as the days count. the left face (Cheek part) starting to grow nor expand the swell. when she noticed her gums. it has a pus. and still developing we guess. this is the third day shes been suffering from face inflammation/swell. And at the same time having a minimal headache. The swell goes up on the lower part of the eye from the cheek.

I really appreciate your concern, for your mother as you stated the history here so this could be dental condition and because of this your mother might be having swelling chances of infection need to be ruled out, along with this differential diagnosis would be matter of concern (if this is really swelling some time on clinical examination it may not be swelling ) in such case clinical examination is very necessary, hope this information helps, take care.
