What Causes Inflammation Behind Ear?

I am having severe headaches, three months or so. I am also a kidney transplant patient, 20 plus years, 5'7, 195 lbs, male. referred to neurologist, had mri today that shows inflammation behind ear. Do not have a primary care physician -- got call today from neurologist to seek treatment

Dear where is the inflammation is it in side the ear or behind the ear.

I think it is inside the ear which is visible through MRI.

It may be due to middle ear infection or eustachian tube blockade.

Cause for this may be allergy or pharyngitis. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Avoid allergen.

Water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling is useful.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
