What Causes Inflammation In The Ears And Cough After Taking Amoxicillin?

During a strep throat I developed my doc prescribed me with penicillin (pen-Rafa) how ever toward the end I started developing a sinusitis witch I was prescribed with amoxicillin It s now been a week and I m still inflamed my ears are always popping like I m 30 feet deep in water or landing on a plane . coughing up think green mucus and constantly needing to blowing my nose the most irritating and worrying part is that I can t taste or smell any thing. Very claustrophobic sensation. Any suggestions or reasons . And does the switch from penicillin to amoxicillin have anything to do with it. Would greatly appreciate some help Tanks

I dont think that the switch from penicillin to amoxicillin have anything to do with your symptoms.
As I see the infection is not ruled out by this antibiotics so you should consult your doctor about an alternative antibiotic.
