What Causes Inflammation In The Lung And Breathlessness?

What started out as a cold then went into my right lung became inflamed triggered asthma. Six weeks later lung would not inflate properly but pulimanologist said lungs are clear as per ct scan. Eight weeks later ribs along bottom of right lung in pain feels like pushing up from bottom of right lung then difficulty breathing. Even worse I have a bone in the throat feeling that doesn t go away. So with pressure in my throat and right ribs I was able to narrow it down to gallblatter by the symptoms. Am I right?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Gallbladder disease can easily be misdiagnosed as pneumonia. If the pain you experience is located under your ribs on the right side, I would suspect gallbladder disease.

This can be determined by blood tests (CRP, leukocytes, liver function tests, etc) and an ultrasound of your abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
