What Causes Inflammation In The Lymph Nodes While Suffering From Hypothyroidism?

I have been battling health issues for the past 6 years. I have renil kidney failure, gall bladder removed, diagnosed with hypotyroidism that we can not get under control. For the past months I have been experiencing flare ups where my whole body and lymph nodes become inflammed. We can t figure out why. This last flare up has infected my throat. I have a hiatal hernia and acid reflex. 5 enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and am now be referred to a ear, nose and throat doctor for a biopsy. I have noticed one breast has been seeping green and now the nipple is starting to invert. My doctor doesnt seem to be too interested in my breast. Could all of this be from my hypotyroidism? What do you think about these sumptoms? cm

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello mam, according to symptoms hypothyroidism can cause flare up. Your immune response has decreased and these are causing the lymph nodes to swell. its good to get a biopsy done as suggested by your doctor. i also suggest you to get a full body test including cbc, lft, kft, and hiv test too. please do visit a gynec for your breasts and don't overlook it even if your doctor is not interested. further more for your acid reflux start taking proton pump inhibitors(pantocid-d) and antacids for relief. For hiatal hernia get an opinion from gastroenterologist as i don't know how complex is it right now.
Please donot over look at your symptoms and do visit a concerned doctors.
Thank you
