What Causes Inflammation Of Skin Along With Red Patches And Goose Bumps?

Hi, I ve been dealing with an issue with my body for about 5 days now. My body would become hot and it has not changed ever since it began. My skin would feel as if it s on fire but when I d check my temperature, it s normal. I have goosebumps all day and my skin has red patches all over my body. I feel as if my skin is itchy and I m constantly having to resist the urge of scratching it in fear that it is becoming a rash. I have no appetite and when I do eat, they are very little portions of food and I feel the urge to throw up. I have no energy throughout the day and I have a headache that is pounding but would come and go throughout the day. My eyes are red also. Could you please help me!

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the red patches with goose bumps and decreased appetite indicate underlying pyrexia of viral or bacterial origin and secondary inflammation pause such changes. My guidelines at present:
- Tub bath with lukewarm water added epsom salt
- Anti histamine as Cetirizine
- Prophylactic antibiotics such as cefadroxil
- Steroid shots
- Anti-pyretic as paracetamol or acetaminophen
