What Causes Inflammation On The Face After Applying A Skin Lightening Cream?

Hello, i have melanin and visited dermatologist a week before. He priscribef a lightinig cream , and i applied it for for conscutive nights. But my cheeks go horrible, it becomes very red, swollen and starts to peel. Now i stopped it and starts lemon juice. Pls help should i continue the prescribed cream or natural treatments? If so what and how? 10q very much!

You are having severe allergic reaction to the whitening cream called “ contact dermatitis”. Stop using the particular cream and never use it in future. As of now you can apply low potent steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. Nothing much to worry and you will be all right in couple of days.
