Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Several times a year .I get an inflammation on the left or right side of my head. It starts with swelling around the ear and temple areas , extending to ear cartilage and surrounding areas. It seems to be between the dermis layer but over muscle. I don t believe its in the inner ear as no inner ear pressure or eustation tube pus or drainage Symptom onset 5 to 12 hrs. feavor breakes 24 to 36 hrs. later Asst. pain throbbing asst. with infection
Hi, It seems to inflammation swelling can be cellulitis ! Antibiotic treatment is to be taken 500/125 Amoxclav for 5 days taken at least plus symptomatic treatment, take ENT opinion also. Recurrence is due to low immune capability, do learn some pranayama and strengthen your immune system also.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
