What Causes Inflammation On Tip Of Big Toe?

good morning. i have a client and i want to know what can i do to help her with her reddened tip of big toe. I am monitoring it for a while and i am just wondering what's the possible cause. It is much reddened today than the last time and also noted a small bruise like. The redness is about 1.5x1.5cm just a t the very tip of her toe. please give me advise. Redness area is pretty much localized. Would it be pressure or more on circulation problem?
