What Causes Inside Of The Mouth And Lips To Become Sticky?

yesteday while i was having some popcorn, and i had some water, i felt suddenly my lips and inside of the mouth are sticky, i checked with my friend if he also felt teh same as i thought it could be cos of the popcorn , but she didnt feel so!!! It s more of a sticky and dry for two to three mins, then i wet it with my saliva and felt a bit ok

it is an absolutely normal phenomena and is due to physiological metabolite of popcorn which convert into an intermediate which is sticky in nature.
there is nothing abnormal with it..
