Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had insomnia last night which isn t uncommon. Went to the gym at 5:15. I work out 5-6 times per week, so nothing new. During the warm-up, I felt a little breathless; then I got clammy. I continued workout and sweat much more than I usually do. I felt a little dizzy. Probably should have stopped, but continued for about 45 minutes. Sat out the last exercise rotation. Went home, ate a little and then went to work. I felt dehydrated and just weird (almost numb). I feel okay now, just exhausted. Is this a flu?
First, get your Blood Pressure checked, not all conditions will be flu. It is better to get once examined in the clinic or you can just take rest for some time to subside on its own.
Drink lot of water or ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) if dehydrated. You can just add salt and sugar to water and drink in the home, take 1 to 2 liters per day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
