What Causes Insomnia And Loss Of Appetite In A Bladder Cancer Patient?

Hello, I am asking concerning a very close friend. He has had bladder cancer, but his last test results, just last month were great and he doesn t need to see his specialist for another year. My question is that as of lately he his having problems sleeping and now doesn t have an appetite. Maybe I am jumping the gun, but just really nervous and concern for him. Thanks

Hi,

You can go for a complete blood count to rule out low hemoglobin as anemia can cause similar symptoms. Anxiety and depression can also cause these symptoms especially among chronic diseases like cancer.He can try relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation also. Have healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
