What Causes Intense Headache During Bowel Movement?
Hi,I pushed too hard when I passed stools, when I did at that point my head started severely hurting, since then I have had severe headaches at the front/top part of my head, I have had a head scan and it was clear however should I still be worried?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have j intense headache during bowel movement . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to exertional headaches . Exertional headaches are a group of headache syndromes, which are associated with some physical activity. Exertional headaches can, in some instances, be a sign of abnormalities in the brain or other diseases . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and blood test . Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressnts , vasograin , NSAIDS and betablockers .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
