What Causes Intense Itching On The Scalp?
my 93 year old mother is having intense itching of her scalp. Having seen her PC doctor-twice-in less than a month-no head lice-dermatology app. still 5 weeks away. She is getting around 3 hours of sleep nightly because of the itching- which her PC suggested Benadryl. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I really appreciate your concern, such itching could be due to psychosis and it can be managed with Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day it is the functional condition it may not be due to any disease hope this information helps.
