What Causes Intense Lower Back Pain And Headache After Having Unsafe Sex?
Hi there. So I had the birth control implant. I got it removed Tuesday morning. Didn t get put on any new bc. Tuesday and Wednesday I had unprotected sex. No condom or anything. As of last night I ve had extreme lower back and hip pain. Along with headaches, cramps and sore throat with a bad cough. What could this be?

The symptoms what you are describing namely headache, lower back ache, sore throat and cough are not directly related to having unsafe intercourse. It appears to be prodromal symptoms related to respiratory tract infection. Kindly do the following to overcome them.
1. Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily.
2. Take steam inhalation thrice daily to facilitate easy drainage of mucous.
3. Take analgesic-antipyretic medication Tablet. Ibuprofen with Paracetamol twice daily after food.
4. Take syrup containing Ambroxol thrice daily.
5. Avoid intake of cold items like ice-cream and cool drinks.
In case the symptoms doesn't subside by 3 days, you may need to take a course of oral antibiotic namely Tablet. Azhithromycin along-with. You should be able to overcome the symptoms by taking the above measures.
