What Causes Intense Pain In Both Legs For A 66-year-old Having Spinal Stenosis?

I have intense pain in both legs most of the time but it is especially severe in the morning. It feels like it s deep in my bones but I m sure it s muscular. It is not affected by exercise or rest. I do have spinal stenosis. I am 66 years old. What could be the cause of this pain?
