What Causes Intense Pain In Conjunction With Ovulation And Premenstruation?

I have been having some intense right side pain in conjunction with ovulation and premenustration. I have now got quite yellow urine with a nutty smell. No pain on urination, hydrated and eating well. I have been to emergency ?apendix. They thought cyst/s. Ultrasound did not reflect apendix. This was some 6 months ago and I am again getting the same symptoms
