What Causes Intense Pain In Knee And Popping Noise?

Hello I have a really intense tooth ache like feeling in my knee and it is quite unbearable and I am unable to straight my leg because it feels like it's going to come out of place and makes a pop noise and it is very very painful do you no what this is? And how it's caused? And what I should do about it? Thanks
