What Causes Intense Pain On Wiggling And Flexing The Toe?

I hit my toe tumbling at gymnastics practice and ever since then whenever I point, flex, or wiggle my toe it practically stops me from wiggling it any farther because It causes so much pain (hopefully this all makes sense) is this a short term thing? Or should I see a docter??

Hello,

Well, yes, but it is because of the gymnastics as much as the toe. I've never had anyone with a broken toe that wasn't treated the same way with "buddy tape" BUT I have had people do it themselves and not be happy with functionality later on.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
