What Causes Intense Pressure And Cracking Sound In Ear?
I am 25 when i was 21 i went swimming in a pool and swam down about 6 feet all of a sudden boom my ears filled water i became disoriented i had water in my right ear for over 3 weeks. ever since my right ear will hiss even when i go even a foot or 2 under water. there is intense pressure and whining and whistling crackling sounds. when i plug my nose and blow i can hear what sounds like air and water in my right ear.
you must be having secretory otitis media or glue ear. normally ear and nose are connected through Eustachian tube , which main function is to balance pressure between the ear and nose. the tube gets blocked if there is any pressure variationslike swimming or on high altitude. consult the doctor if problem persists. you may be having chronic Eustachian catarrh which may be the cause of your problem.
