What Causes Intense Pulsation In Left Side Of Brain?

Hi! Last night I felt intensified pulsation on the left side of my brain, about 2-3 finger breath above my left ear. It lasted for a minute or so. It was not painful and I did not feel any dizziness. I am just terribly scared of why the pulsation was so strong. I got into thinking of having aneurysm, that was the first time I experienced such. Do I have to check on a neurologist or something? Thanks!
