What Causes Intense Right-sided Shoulder Pain Despite Taking Advil?

I injured my right shoulder this past spring doing yard work. It was finally getting better and only hurt when I moved my right are up to the left. I started doing some excercises to help it get stronger (yesterday) and woke up this morning and couldn t get out of bed. I couldn t move my right upper part of my body without extreme pain. I took two Advil and was okay to go about my day. As soon as they wore off, again, I couldn t function. I would have gone to my Dr. today but I am helping my elderly parents move (giving directions only). It s seems it hurts to breathe. It s not my lungs, it feels tight light a muscle... Any advice?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan to rule out ligament or tendon injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
