What Causes Intense Sweating?

I have intense sweating, esp. around head, hairline, face and neck. I am 77. Tried harmones for 3rd time, but saw no relief. House temp. 76 degrees and still start sweating like a hot flash off and on during day. At my age, hot flashes should not be a cause. Still have uterus and had tubes tied at 45. Any other suggestions for relief?

Please check your blood sugar levels, thyroid profile and vitamin B12, these are the most common causes of sweating.
