What Causes Intense Vomiting?

Hi! I went to my pep today, saw the np. Symptoms are nausea and vomiting, moderate lower back pain, and general malaise. While there my urine revealed 500++ glucose but my blood glucose was 62. They gave me Skelaxin for my back, which made me puke more and told me to come back next week. Any insight into why such a high urine glucose and low blood glucose? I feel insanely horrible!!

Hi,

High urine glucose is related to diabetes.

I would recommend doing a regular measurement of glycemia level before and after meals.

I also recommend doing HbA1c which examine the glycemic level in the last three months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
