What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding?

hi i was told by my doctor last saturday that i have a soft uterus despite from having a negative result on my blood test pt. today, i am having a bleeding and it seems like a menstrual period for me. what must the reason for all of it? i was wondering what is happening to me? does a false negative test really exist?

Hi, I think it is very unlikely to be pregnant if you had a negative blood test for pregnancy. Intermenstrual bleeding can be due to some vaginal infection. You may need some antibiotics. Also do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels.
