What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Bleeding?

My period has come and gone 3 times in 3 weeks. The flow has been light but has changed from normal flow and color to brown to light red. In addition, I have felt I had 2 yeast infections in 2 months, which I used one day miconazole treatment each time. What might be causing these symptoms? I've been married 28 years with a single sex partner and am 50 years age.

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. Get a pelvic examination done to rule out any cervical pathology. Also do a ultrasound to see the endometrial thickness. If it is more than 4 mm, you may need an endometrial biopsy to rule out any endometrial pathology.
