Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Regular period, ovulation day 13-14, period length 27-28 days. Last two months luteal phase a few days shorter, spotting from day 9-10 (sometimes red, sometimes pink, sometimes brown). No temperature drop before period. No medicines, no change in lifestyle, nor in diet. No other problems or symtoms. No weight gain nor loss. Trying to get pregnant.
Hi, There are many causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding that are associated with irregular ovulation. A woman who has irregular menstrual periods requires a physical examination with a special emphasis on the thyroid, breast, and pelvic organs.
Treatment for irregular vaginal bleeding depends on the underlying cause. After the cause is determined, the doctor decides if treatment is actually necessary. Dont worry , later consult with an gynaecologist. thanks
