What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Spotting?

I ve been spotting in between periods for awhile after I gave birth almost a year later. I also sometimes spot after clitoral orgasms. I first noticed it soon after vaginal stimulation with an adult product. I usually take the herb Dong Quai, and this stops the spotting. I do not have an unusual discharge. My cycles have been on time, every time, and there is no difference in the flow. What could be going on? Did I not heal properly after giving birth? Did I mess something up with the toy?

Hi, I think you should go for a pelvic examination by a gynecologist. It can be due to some cervical pathology. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries done to find out if there is any thyroid disorder or any uterine or ovarian pathology. You can take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the spotting. Hope I have answered your question.
