What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Spotting?

I had a blow to my abdomin about 4 days ago in the middle of the night. That morning there was a lot of thick dark blood in my underwear. I thought it was that time of the month but it s kinda early and after 2 days I m still only spotting a weird brown color. That s not normal plus if not been bloated nor had period cramps I get without fail. So how do I know if it s from my abdominal trauma or just my period? It s been 4 days would it even matter to go to the doctor now?

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. It can be due to some internal trauma to uterus. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it stops, it is fine. You can get a ultrasound done to see uterus. Hope it helps.
