What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding Post Intercourse?

I have PCOS and I had a salpingectomy 07/31/2014 at 7.5 weeks and lost my left fallopian tube. I bled from that day to 08/06/2014 and not again until 10/3/2014 -10/10/2014 there was just streaks of blood blood here and there but, the bleeding went away for a days and of course my husband and I did have intercourse. However, the bleeding started again this time bright red with half dollar sized clots on 10/15/2014 and has yet to cease. I have taken several PT tests and all are negative. I m scared and confused because I almost died during the first ectopic from internal bleeding. My NEW doctor rx me birth control and told me I should find a regular gyne...SMH the nerve...what should I do?

I think I have understood your concern, I will try to suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1)First of all do not panic.

2) If repeated urine pregnancy tests are negative, then please do not worry about pregnancy. You are not pregnant.

3) For knowing the cause of inter menstrual bleeding USG and gynec check up will be of help. In gynec check up problems like cervical erosion and cervical polyp can be diagnosed. These issues can lead to inter menstrual bleeding. You can use Tab PAUSE MF 3 times a day to control the abrupt bleeding till then.

4) Please follow a reasonable contraceptive method for next 3 to 5 months. Later on if you miss your periods, please confirm pregnancy by urine test and USG to know location of the pregnancy.
