What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding?

i had my regular periods on the 19th that is ten days before and suddenly yesterday i again had some bleeding for whole day! now it has stopped..please give all possible reasons you can think for this and in any case is it the post ovulation bleeding indicating that i'm pregnant??
