General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The most probable reason is underlying hormone imbalance responsible for intermenstrual bleed heavily. Immediate therapy would be with trenaxamic acid and norethisterone hormone treatment to suppress the acute bleed. Later on an ultrasound evaluation is a must for proper cause evaluation and further care to regulate the flow.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
